Workplace safety has been a hot topic throughout the entirety of the pandemic and rightfully so, however, the Supreme Court recently voted against the federal vaccine and testing mandate issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This placed workplace safety into the hands of employer's rather than the federal government. It is important to keep up on OSHA's safety requirement, but it is equally important to stay up-to-date on state and local regulations as they vary greatly throughout the country. Without government requirement, how will employers who want to enforce vaccines and testing stay afloat? Additionally, how will regulations, or lack there of, effect the recruitment and retention of top talent in an already difficult market?
