After more than a year of work from home mandates, the hybrid model was introduced as a way to ease employees back into their work environments. However, this new model has proven its place and may be here to stay. According to the analytics platform Perceptyx, hybrid workers are almost twice as likely to feel energized by their work. They are given the flexibility to set their own boundaries and develop work-life balance. Perceptyx found that those in the hybrid model had the best mental health outcomes, compared to that of fully in-person or fully remote employees. With studies showing that hybrid models are effective, will they become widely accepted and how will employers adapt to this new work environment?
