The last few years has redefined what the workplace looks like and what employees want out of it. According to research conducted by Ladders, a career news and insight platform, 25% of all positions in North America will be entirely remote by the end of the year, due to employee demand. Moreover, tech company OwlLabs reports 74% of employees stating that remote or hybrid settings are better for their mental health with 84% saying it would make them happier. There is no doubt that remote work is one of the top policies employees are looking for, but what else makes the list? 4 day work weeks, EAP programs, sign on bonuses and career development are a few of the top demands employees are looking for. Will we see more of these policies provided by organizations? If so, how soon will these become the 'norm'?
