The pandemic made a lot of organizations rethink their workspace as they shifted to remote work. Now, nearly two and half years later, many are pushing to return to in-person work, but is full-time in the office the best answer? Hybrid work allows employees the flexibility of working from home and in-person. A recent survey, conducted by Owl Labs, found the pros and cons of a fully-remote environment and how these ideas may be best adapted into a hybrid model instead. Some concepts include the price of commuting, work-life balance, and independent versus group work opportunities. Even though many are pushing to return back to the "old norm," will we see a trend in hybrid work? If so, what will this do to the job market?
