It is a new year and that means new workplace trends. So, which trends are we starting the year off with? Well, hybrid work seems to be sticking around for another year. In fact, the term "flex-shaming" has come to light which depicts the way in which some leaders are treating those not physically in front of them. However, there is no place for "flex-shaming" in 2023 as many are sticking to the hybrid work model permanently and if organizations aren't doing it, legislation will. Legislative changes surrounding remote work have already begun in some countries. Will the U.S. follow? Additionally, in order to get workers back into the office, there needs to be something in it for them. Many are arguing that the workplace needs to be framed as a social space where organizations can grow their community. What does this shift mean and when will we see it happen?
