Angel of Lower Wacker was founded by Dr. Patrick Angelo, whose mission is to serve the unhoused community throughout the Chicagoland area. Through the kind hearts of volunteers and various partnerships, the charity provides food, water, clothing, toiletries, showers, tents and numerous other resources to help our friends in need. Aaron Garza

It takes a dedicated team to keep the Angel of Lower Wacker Drive Fund rolling at full steam and countless individuals depend on the daily services this organization provides. Aaron Garza is just one of those dedicated team members. As the Chief Giving Officer, he works closely with local churches and other organizations that serve the homeless community.

His perspective on homelessness and its solutions come from more than 15 years of local experience in the areas of poverty and community-based organizations. On a weekly basis, Aaron along with many devoted volunteers, serve meals and other much needed items to the men and women that currently reside on the streets of Chicago. As a life-long Chicagoan, husband of 22 years and father to a beautiful daughter, his compassion for those that surround him is insurmountable.
