As inflation rises, many organizations are bracing for a recession. With this comes budget cuts. While many organizations are quick to put their corporate social responsibility (CSR) aside, keeping up on CSR efforts may benefit their bottom line. According to a survey conducted by Porter Novelli, nearly 9 out of 10 employees say that companies should positively impact society instead of just making money. Furthermore, 93% of employees said that companies must lead purposefully and prioritize their people, customers, and the community around them. Some robust CSR initiatives include lowering an organization's carbon footprint or volunteering as an organization. While many CSR efforts are welcomed, they need much thought, planning, and support to succeed.
