The shift to remote and hybrid work was unexpected, but much welcomed among employees. It has allowed employees the flexibility and work-life balance they have been looking for, however, not being in-person may have a negative impact on their career milestones. A recent survey, conducted by The American Staffing Association, found that 56% of U.S. adults believe that those who work fully in-person have a competitive edge over those who are fully remote. Especially when it comes to raises, bonuses and promotions. So, how can employees compete against those who are in office? How can employers better support their remote and hybrid employees?
