4-Day Workweek Trials Are Going Global as the Great Resignation Rages On

Many of us are used to the traditional 5-day work week, however, over the last few years, burnout has become a top priority and cutting down on the work week may be a solution. While the Great Resignation is happening around the world, it is certainly felt here in America where a record number of workers quit there jobs in November. A recent survey conducted by Eagle Hill Consulting found that 53% of people are experiencing burnout and 83% of U.S. workers believe a four-day workweek would ease it. Pilot programs are happening around the world to see if the 4-day workweek will prove beneficial as a long term solution. Will the U.S. look into adapting this new model? Will it help secure top talent and prevent employee turnover?
