When it comes to wellbeing, walking 5,000 steps a day can pay big dividends. A recent actuarial analysis of 2,700 individuals shows that combining comprehensive screening, biometric outcomes and activity can significantly improve employee wellbeing. The study, conducted by CHC Wellbeing, shows that participants who had an initial wellbeing assessment, plus engaged in the CHC Walking Program, had significant improvement in key measures including Metabolic Syndrome, Diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels.
