We recently had the privilege of contributing to the WELCOA blog. After a lot of thought, we chose to cover a topic that impacts anyone who works in the wellness industry. It’s called compassion fatigue. Having a career where a higher purpose is baked into your job description at a deep level can be very inspiring and uplifting. But there is a cost for caring. And that the price tag can be considerable. Think about nurses, teachers, counselors, first responders, nonprofit leaders, and…wellness professionals.
